CIPS Health Procurement Africa (HPA), is a programme to elevate healthcare providers from routine purchasing into strategic procurement systems.
Using CIPS Standards we are able uplift procurement capability in healthcare organisations in low and low-to-middle income countries to improve the availability and affordability of critical medical supplies. These interventions have not only resulted in over $1 million in savings and increased treasury funding, but it has directly helped reduce maternal and newborn mortality rates by almost 20%.
